I just had Achilles surgery from Dr. Gupta in April 2019 and I couldn't be more happy and content with the decision. During the consult he was informative, he clearly listed out all of my options, and he asked for my expectations and the fitness goals that I would want to achieve after the procedure. My wife suffered a fracture to her upper femur in a work-related injury. Dr. Akash Gupta was her attending physician at Legacy and performed a total hip replacement. Dr. Gupta is an extraordinarily talented surgeon who has an excellent bed-side manner. He is thorough and takes the time to answer questions, and he was willing to take on the headache of remaining as my wife's attending physician while we work our way through the worker's comp insurance process. I had my bunion fixed by Dr. Gupta and I couldn't be happier!! After seeing a few different podiatrists around town, I decided that I should see a doctor who's a foot expert and I am so glad I did. He took the time to explain the different treatment options and different methods of fixing my foot and why one was better for my foot than the other.
